Computer got '' Blue Screen of Death '' and wont start up normally help?

I left my computer on overnight and noticed that some sort of blue screen popped up saying that harddrive changes are required or something like that , couldnt get to read it all , and computer just turned off. Now whenever i turn it on it will not show anything up on my screen nor will it charge anything like my ipod or even my camera , i have tried to enter safemode but nothing continues to show up on my screen , and i have tried it on different screen monitors. any help would be appreciated.
