In to kill a mockingbird...?

This is a “coming of age” novel, in which a person matures and becomes an adult. Neither Scout nor Jem are adult age by the end of the novel, but they have both learned a great deal about life, especially some hard lessons about hatred and ignorance. Who do you think is the one who “comes of age” in this novel? Give specific reasons for your choice.
